I'm looking to build a system for my servers so I can take advantage of time of use billing from my power company as the TOU billing is brutal here. I am looking for either an all-in-one system or battery + controller + inverter system. My servers use about 11.5 kWh of power per day. I'm looking to be able to at least power that and have at least a 30% buffer.
My requirements are as follows:
I don't care if the batteries are rackmount (but that is preferable) but the ability to monitor the voltage I think would be critical here.
My requirements are as follows:
- Pure sinewave inverter with 120 V 60 Hz output
- Inverter that has enough wiggle room in constant wattage output
- Ability to ground the unit for safety
- Ability to charge the unit during off-peak hours
- Ability to charge the unit when it gets below a threshold (30% maybe)
