Only problem for a large bank is that it's only 10amp...

10A is still better than sitting in the dark, and will be a +40A draw on the 100A alternator. Won't "charge" the battery but will extend runtime. Did you test the output? Specs also list 600W max = 12.5A @ 48V.

It's still on the slow boat from China. Should get it soon...

I charge my 4kwhr boat bank with a 5amp 3 bank marine charger (5+5+5)...it takes 10-12 hours but it charges...so in a pinch 10amps will work just fine. But I do need to test the output...I know it can do 10amps at 12v, but not sure about 36v or 48v...it "should"..
