I have 2 sp6548 Inverters with 2 sg48100P batteries. I am running split phase with BMS communications plugged into the SP1 inverter. Sungold said to set SP1 to PYL and SP2 to User Defined. The SP1 gives me an 04 low battery warning but SP2 shows no warning indication. I am currently charging Both utility and MPPT. When just charging with MPPT for some reason the batteries lost charge even though the inverters show charging. I do have 3ea. 450watt panels on each inverter. My question is :
1. Why do I get the low battery alarm on SP1 only and
2. Why do I lose battery power with both inverters charging on MPPT only.

I have no load on the Inverters other than the inverter load itself. I do have the communication cables tying the 2 inverters together. if I deactivate the alarms on SP2 it also deactivates the alarms on SP1 but if I deactivate the alarms on SP1 it wont deactivate the alarms on SP2. I'm confused as to why.

That's because SP1 is communicating with the BMS. So it's in a submissive state.
It's expecting to be told what to do.

I found I had to change the batteries from 0000 and 0001 to 0001 and 0002 and haven't had the code 04 since. Not sure why but that worked. I guess when my next pair of batteries show up in the next 3 to 12 weeks I'll set them as 0003 and 0004

Holy banoonies!
I recently upgraded from (2) 7 year old forklift batteries, an outback 80 charge controller, and an aims picoglf40120 to (2) SG6548's and (6) SG48100P's as a 2 phase set up. (That was a mouthful huh?)
I've been having all kinds of issues, mostly low battery alarms with the included shutdowns.
I've even had low battery alarms while using a 35kw generator as utility power.
No matter how I set the parameters, I couldn't get solid charging going on even with the generator running.
I tried resetting program 2, but no matter what I did, it went back to 10A.

I found this thread, went and reset the six addresses up one notch from the previous setting, and the whole system went into high chooch mode with the ac amp charge jumping up to 70.

I can't wait to see if the other failures resolve tomorrow with some sun.
Thanks,
I think,
I hope.

Yeah, its a learning curve for sure but i fianly got most of it figured out lol. Now to figure out why I have the following issue. battery 1 67% Battery 2 41% Battery 3 42% and battery 4 40%. I am thinking it is a battery cable lenght issue
