Sunsynk not discharging the batteries

I just installed an 8kwh hybrid sunsynk and I am struggling to make it discharge from the batteries.
My use case is as follows:
08:00 - 23:15 I want to charge the batteries with excess solar after house load and drain the batteries to the house if the PV is less than the load.
23:15 - 08:00 I want to charge the batteries from the grid (winter only)

Which of my settings are wrong?
If I enable use timer as is the batteries just discharge into the grid at full capacity.

Enable and edit your TimeOfUse table. that is what regulates spending battery reserves to reduce grid usage - to save money. If you have a 16S based LifePO4 battery - during daytime 08:00 - 14:00 f.ex. I set the batt level to 51.2V but also the PV will recharge the batts to full during the same period if there's enough sun. At the same time I also notch the box with grid charge during the same time slot if f.ex. it rains/overclouded and not enough solar coming in. You do not want to deplete your battery beyond nominal "low" aka 51.2V
Hope the example help.

The batteries are dyness and they all have their own BMS so all that should be controlled by the BMS.
I also had the pins of the CT flipped so it was reading grid usage as export, flipped it around and then the batteries started to work.
I have this very annoying constant grid trickle of 100w even though it is set to 20w which is wasting a lot of power from the grid still.
Any ideas?

Hello, you can set the grid trickle to zero because as I understand it that setting is for pre pay meters because apparently they need at least 20w from the grid to work properly. I switched mine to zero and for the majority doesn't use anything from the grid unless the inverter is struggling to juggle fluctuating solar coming in and fluctuating loads because I think sometimes it just needs to draw it's own power to do the job.
I've added a screen shot of mine, I think sometimes the numbers just don't add up and the inverter sometimes uses more and sometimes less depending how hard is working but I'm no expert
