Unironically want to do a DIY Vehicle Of Some Sort

they made lawn mower like robots that would battle - broadcast it on tv. Parts would fly everywhere. I have not watched anything like that in years because it was to point of being silly. The robot lawn mowers had a purpose. I found them more of a practical application vs battle mowers.

kind of funny you bring that up, last weekend my employer had me drive to Milwaukee to see if I could
help someone fix an issue with building a battlebot to be broadcast it on tv. I also remember them from
a few years ago, but never had an interest. I'm more of a practical application kind of person.
I do get it thou, want to get kids interested, blow stuff up, and keep it under 5 minutes.

the battlebot I looked at had 2 5000W 48vdc brushless drive motors, I could do lots of work with that.

but with the right gearing 100W motor can lift 500lb


kids come in all ages.
