Where to place temperature sensor when using heating pads with Seplos BMS?

I’ve been using the Seplos BMS 10E for almost one year and I’m moving the battery to a non heated room, so I want to use the heating pads that I bought with the BMS to make sure the temperature doesn’t drop too much.
In this video

they are placing the temperature sensors between the pads and the cells, wouldn’t this just measure the temperature of the pads and cause the heating to stop when cells are still cold?

There aren’t actually that many sensors attached to the BMS; I think that video is for internal Seplos training (they put the battery in a temperature controlled chamber)
The bms only has 4 temperature probes
