I'm trying to protect my 6000XP from lightning damage and want to make sure I'm ordering the correct equipment.
My PV voltage in full sun is ~390VDC, so is MNSPD-600 from Midnight solar the correct unit to purchase?

I would also like to install a surge protection unit at my main service panel (120/240AC), so I'm thinking the MNSPD-300-AC might be the correct choice.
Also, curious what peoples opinion might be on how many SPD units should be installed on a non grid connected system and where to place them.

Thanks

Surge protection devices should be placed on every circuit that enters the house. (AC or DC)
And sized slightly larger (voltage) than the maximum expected normal voltage of the circuit.
