I am wanting to build a mobile solar setup that I can use in my shed with solar panels and I can also take the system with me in my RV when I go camping. I was thinking of a system similar to the one Will Prowse builds on a handcart here. I think I understand how to wire everything in my shed. However, I am a little confused how to wire it to be used in my RV. I want to make it as simple as possible, and am thinking the easiest way would be to add a 30 amp female cable like this one to an EG4. Would I be able to wire this directly into the output of the EG4 or would I need to build a breaker box to accomplish this. This would allow me to plug by 30 amp RV shore power cable into the setup. I am not wanting to recharge the batteries in my RV with solar panels, but it would give me a bigger battery bank for weekend trips.
I am obviously new to all of this. All advice is appreciated.
Thanks
