Reusable zip ties can be handy!

I didn't know they had reusable zip ties but I found some on Aliexpress so I ordered some. They have an extended tap on the release mechanism to make it easy to release and reuse the tie. They come in many colors.

You can also get a re-twistable type if you need to open/close it repeatedly. Looks like:

Just a tip I've picked up along the way, almost all zip ties are reusable.
You carefully slip something small & thin under the lock tab & open them back up. I usually use my toothpick or metal blade on my little Swiss army knife. I literally just opened two up today before shipping some long 5/16 rod out that I had to attach to a piece of wood in order to make it more rigid. Try it out ?

Yes, look around for different vendors. However for the reusable zip ties, I only found one vendor on Aliexpress that had a multicolorp pack. Typically you buy 100 of one color in each lot. A little fun fact...
All Mercedes vehicle wire loom zip ties are heavy duty, with reuse-able release... so, a trip to a junk yard can get you a bunch of them...

One thing I've noticed with any other color than black zip ties, is that they do poorly in direct sunlight, the UV really ages the plastic quickly, the black seems to block the UV and survives much better.
