It’s in the manual. I’m at work right now, but on the MT50, hit “esc” and “down arrow” until you get to factory reset, I believe.

So you say you run the house off your battery. Is it a tiny home? What appliances do you use? What loads is a typical day? I thought of getting another 12v 100ah Tess and see if I can run my AC unit for 1 hour in the evening to cool my tiny home. What do you think?

So, you’re saying 1) to put on larger cables, and 2) use a 250A fuse. I won’t be buying the clamp do to cost and not usefully but one time. Should I installed a circuit breaker on the inverter side (like I have on the controller side)? If so, what size, 200A? thanks!

Ok, sounds good. So I put in a 270A fuse. How about also a circuit breaker between fuse and inverter? Tripping a breaker would be better than a fried fuse. Circuit breaker at 270A or 250A? Or, would that be counter-productive ?

Yes, very strange... and why is mine working? I glad it is, but not confident with it when I leave home!!! If it does this again, I’ll try my old PWM controller. Do you have any old controller to try? Or, can you get one and try it? Just thinking of possibilities....

Ok, been doing this for a short while and all was good. Now the PV is out on MPPT, but solar panels are good, have 20v with 0a. Why? Did a reset with breaker, then with battery. Both restarted MPPT, it started working right but PV light went out and no Amps! Is this new MPPT bad? I did...

No, battery 100ah is not fully charged and when I do a reset on the MPPT, it comes on for 2 minutes and shuts down.

There is no output switch. It shows 20v at 0a on the PV, that’s very strange.

Update: I did a reset again (about 7th time)... Now, MPPT seems to be normal for the past 10 minutes... it charges up my battery and now on a float charge at 0.7amps, looks normal. so what happened? When I’m gone and if this happens again, my battery will not be charged and get depleted. I’m...

I have 4 panels as I plan on getting another battery soon, but MPPT is working now and hope it stays that way. Don’t know what the glitch was? But thankful for the problem to be gone and working right now.

I agree, check polarity first. I imagine it is correct, so then (I’m no expert here, still learning myself) I would disconnect batteries from controller for 10-15 minutes. I believe the controller logic is stuck and deenergizing it, but who knows... Then reconnect, check it controller is...

Wow, that’s bad. You didn’t get any failure info from the program? My MT50 didn’t show any failures. Guess I’m fortunate in getting mine working somehow. How many times have you reset the power to the controller? How many times have you done the factory reset? Hope you can figure it out...
