I thought about it for a while and i decided to put 4 springs capable of holding over 1000 N each. They cost like 7 euros a piece but i think it has come out ok. Still i have not seen barely any expansion of the pack from full to empty cells.
After a long search i decided to take the long road and use Freecad. I use the Realthunder version, is much better. Freecad is not intuitive and it takes a while to get used to it, but is truly free and i think is the right idea. I can only hope it gets developed to the level of other freeware...
Yep PLA is not ideal here but ABS is hard to print. I checked the whole thing with a flir at full charge in the morning and i didnt saw anything getting really hot. The whole thing was to see if i could avoid buying the tfuse holder, i am still on it.
Well the cables are ok too i guess i didnt...
I dont get it. Is not that i am trying to protect the Dc Breaker but the whole battery. I asked in another thread if t-fuse, dcbreaker or both was the best, it came out that t fuse is the best protection but i also want to have the Breaker functionality.

I added a mini bracket for the jkbms button on the right
I changed the connector...

I have 4 voltronic max axpert 8kw side by side and i am thinking about something similar, but jointed all the way so i can remove all the small filters and put a main big filter to simplify this part of the maintenance.
In the voltronic these filters are not too good, they dont fit well and...
I didnt knew that. I know that the 3 plate method is very old and Whitworth popularized it. Today is commonly referred with his name.
I went through a phase of obsession with lapping plates a couple of years ago. Now i am almost cured.
If there is some mistake i have made a lot, it has been not taking action even if i knew it was the right thing to do.
Get your stuff when is still easy and cheap, tariffs are not coming down, and inflation is never stopping.
Putting together a solar system has done great things for my quality...
For example, these are 3 aluminum plates i casted to test the Whitworth method to create flat surfaces. Look at the interferences fringes in the last pic, how straight they are, i got that cast to be less than 2 micron across flatness.
