To follow up on this. I set mine to my battery size (tested) and from 100% (set when full) to 0%, it was dead on. I got about .01% more power before the low voltage disconnect. My concern about having the larger size shunt was unwarranted.
No sarcasm here. I'm right there with you. I have been spending time this year rebuilding a 24x24 hunting cabin on a small piece of land our group purchased. Our previous one was torn down some years back and was 12x24 for 6 guys, no water, no power, just gas lights and a gas stove, hand pump...
You received a confirmation text and replied to it with your cancelations? I would assume that was an automated text and responding goes to no one.
I've done business with them before and it went fine though I don't recall how long processing and shipping was. Here's hoping you get the...
Good day. It appears those batteries you linked to will be able to replace the agm's in your mower. I would expect you can also use your charger without issue.
Thoughts; You do not have to match the amp hours, only the voltage. The size difference between the agm's and lifepo4 might make it so...
That's true and I am in the same line waiting. He did however mention purchasing quite a few 150ah's that were ready for immediate shipping if I remember correctly. That's probably the direction I would look first before buying through Ali.
Like I said before, if the output works, 16 could fit...
I was under the impression if they are closer to actual usage then they are more accurate, or rather the larger ones have a harder time monitoring small loads. I would say more often then not I use less than 30 amps but could possibly pull up to 185 with my inverter size. If thats not the case...
The mainstays brand 5 cup at Walmart uses 600 watts for 7-8 minutes and the base heater uses less than 30 watts. I fill it to the over flow holes in the back and it's closer to 6 cups (6oz cups). I also have the Black and Decker 5 cup version but it has no heater so by the time I want my second...
I meant to be adding to this thread but have been busy with other things. Anyway, I ordered 16x 280's from Jenny out of China on May 26th and received them July 6th and 7th. They all look really nice (no bulging, dings, or dents) and are the same voltage (3.33). I wish I had asked to buy some...
That 280 peak is only for 5 seconds so if you pull over 100 amps going up a hill, you might not make it all the way to the top. That said, I believe you took some readings and came to the conclusion you wouldn't be pulling over 100 anyway even up hill. Worst case scenario is you do not mow on...
I have one of those same panels. It's a good panel. I use it for my battery box (solar generator). They are a little heavy at 16.5 lbs which is why I want the compact panels at 10 lbs.
Hoping this works out for you Bri2k and you get your compact panels. If you do, please let me know who your...
You are saying a lp furnace that "uses the least power". I'm assuming you mean electric power? Have you looked for one that operates with a thermocouple? After the pilot is lit, the heat creates the electric power needed to turn the gas on and off and is self regulating using a thermostat on the...
150 watt hours for 72oz. of coffee. You'll get that back in an hour of sunlight on your 200 watts of panels, and you get to feel like a king in the woods having your electric coffee pot while camping. Enjoy friend!
In the included picture, the load out of the charge controller (two screws furthest right) is not connected to anything. I'm not sure if I follow your question. If you are asking if power coming in is redirected to the load out (assuming there was one) then yes it powers that and the excess goes...
Yeah I will. From reading your post I thought you had the opposite issue I did and it gave me hope they had the correct panels and simply sent me the wrong ones. In reality, they are just sending what they got.
I have those same cells, and yeah they could have made the studs 1/4" longer. I believe they are laser welded from talking with a vendor in China about getting more.
Per day by the numbers.
2x fans- 200x24hours=4800 watts
2x bulbs- 200x18hours=3600 watts
8x bulbs- 800x.5hours=400 watts
24 hours of consumption= 8800 watts (which I would call 10,000 watts minimum with system losses)
You need to generate that in 2.5 hours of sun so 10,000/2.5= 4000 watts of...
First you are going to want to know the size of the cells you choose, then determine how many you will group together, then find/make a box that size. For instance, here is an image of 16x 135ah cells in an 8x2 configuration. This layout measures 13.5" wide and 15.125" long, and 7.25 high (plus...
Looks like the Docan site is down, or gone rather? All I am getting is 502 error. I swear I just looked at batteries there a couple days ago. Anyone else having this error?

I had a similar problem running ac and microwave on my RV/Camper. It was due to the built in bms shutting the batteries off at 30 seconds of overdraw (according to the bms setting). Everything would run fine and then shut off. I thought it was the inverter because it would fault out (beep) from...
Yes, that is the same as the label on my panels. I have not actually weighed a panel but they are light and I believe the 10 pound claim. If they are saying the current batch is 12 lbs, I would believe that too. As often as the specs change, it seems like they just build these with whatever bulk...
Another way to go about it is to look on alibaba for what you want and then contact supplier and request a quote for door to door pricing (DDP) to your location. The prices are regularly better than aliexpress.
By the way, what are the dimensions of the battery compartment?
12 volts at 20amps is 240 watts output which is why they do not look very robust. I think your idea could work, but a small inverter would use very little power and they have low voltage cutoffs built in. That digital thermostat will have some draw as well. I would say, try to find out what your...
There are other metrics besides efficiency for choosing the right battery for an application. For instance, my upcoming project is to build a dedicated battery for our off grid cabin. We are currently running LFP and will need to remove the battery around new years before the real cold sets in...
