Here you go. Its in chinese and english.
  • Post in thread: Capacity test Problem

Thanks, this is a good lesson in importance of good connections
  • Post in thread: Balancing Questions

So what is the best way to top balance based on this understanding?
  • Post in thread: the easy way to keep your cells balanced is...active balancing

Can you share details of how you pre-charge the capacitors. Did you use a power supply and what value resistor? How did you set up the wiring?.
  • Post in thread: Draft Schematic-Please give input

First Draft of Schematic. Using Lishen 202Ah. I decided to go with the BMS only actively controlling the charge side of the circuit and opted for passive monitoring on the load side. Using a victron 712 for monitoring and hopefully can connect it to a relay to shut off charge circuit at...
  • Post in thread: Basen Rewrapping CATL, other 280AH as Lishen?

Because of this post I switched buying my Lishens from Basen to Xuba. Once I receive them I will post about quality. Price was even better from Xuba.
  • Post in thread: Capacity test Problem

So it looks as though the culprit is my connection at the cell. See voltages below on Display = 3.06 at Load tester terminals =3.168 At Battery-on top of connectors = 3.188 On Battery Terminals = 3.275
  • Post in thread: Coil Economiser Help

Looks like that rated for 24v. I need 48v. I'm just going to put my own manual override in. Hopefully never to be used but if the BMS fails and I need to use motor in emergency. Rather replace battery bank tham whole boat.
  • Post in thread: Coil Economiser Help

Good day everyone, need help from electrical guru's I am looking at using a TYCO EV200ADAANA contactor with a BMS to allow the BMS to do a high current break on my electric motor . Only problem is I believe i need a coil economizer to stop an EMF backflow and reduce current consumption to...
  • Post in thread: Capacity Testing Starting Voltage

Guys I just received my shipment of 202 AH cells from Xuba and I want to capacity test using the tester Will lays out here. Question is I cannot find out at what SOC or voltage on the battery I should begin the test. Can anyone help? All input appreciated
  • Post in thread: My experience with Amy Wan and Xuba

Question for people who have imported batteries so far. I did a test order of 4 cells from Basen and am waiting for them to arrive. The order says that they are shipped DAP but the rep says they are DDP. Has anyone any experience with DAp shipments and what you need to do when they arrive?
  • Post in thread: Cell Redundancy

Im building a 16S 200AH bank to power my yacht electric motor. I have bought a few spare batteries to keep as spares. I was anticipating building 2 12v house banks out of these and then if I have a failure in one cell in my 16s bank I can break apart the house bank and use a spare. Obviously...
  • Post in thread: Optocoupler/SSR recommendations

Looking for an optocoupler/SSR that has a control voltage upper range of 60+ volts and a load voltage range of around 24 volts. Needs to handle surge of about 1.3 amps on load.
  • Post in thread: 24S ANT BMS wiring for 16S

Yup. Anyway to check what it might be for?
  • Post in thread: the easy way to keep your cells balanced is...active balancing

Ok so this is what I am thinking of doing 16S pack Connect all positive leads of active balancer to each cell (Sam as BMS) Connect negative lead of cell to resistor I have a 6.8 ohm at hand. Is that too low Connect negative lead to battery Let me know if this sounds right
  • Post in thread: Coil Economiser Help

Awesome, thanks for feedback. Im anticipating using a BMS to power the Tyco on the negative battery/BMS output but have the Tyco switch the positive side. Does anyone see any issue with this? I'm also not going to run the charger through the Tyco but connect it directly to BMS. Does anyone see...

  • Post in thread: FM Antenna

OK, you are a bunch of smart techies, I have an old radio in my office that has a really lovely sound to it. Unfortunately the FM reception where is is sucks. Can anyone recommend some kind of way to boost the FM signal without having a bunch of cords lying around. All advice appreciated.

  • Post in thread: Balancing Questions

Couple of novice questions regarding balancing 1) Im balancing 20 cells in parallel. Surely the voltage at the furthest terminal from my power supply will end up with less voltage due to resistance on my busbars. How do i solve for this? 2) Related to this, how tight do I need to make my...
  • Post in thread: HELP PLEASE I think I may have some bad cells

Actually I'm doing a test build of 6000mah cylindricals for an ebike to prove out my design and as learning exercise (so far has taught me a lot) so limiting the amperage on balancing is probably a good idea. Im intending to balance 48 of them in parallel. If my math is right that's about 30amps
  • Post in thread: Balancing Questions

    Makes sense, thank you
  • Post in thread: Capacity test Problem

So I charged an individual 200AH Eve cell to 3.595 volts to do cacity test. I used the cheap tester as tested by Will (I've used it before so I know it works) Connected my battery and then attempted to run test. As soon as I tried to increase the amperage it dropped the voltage to below 2 .6v...

Mike, How would a a battery charger be different and provide a better alternative? I imagine a battery charger would also have a a hard time determining SOC.
  • Post in thread: 24S ANT BMS wiring for 16S

I'm gonna assume it should be white and move forward, thank you
  • Post in thread: BMS common port vs seperate port

Does this mean you can connect a relay to any BMS? Logic tells me you should be able to. I would like to use a relay or two with my Daly BMS
  • Post in thread: Capacity test Problem

It was on display. Voltage at battery was about 3.2V

I don't think that particular version does. See below. Not sure if I'm reading this correctly though
  • Post in thread: 24S ANT BMS wiring for 16S

Guys, On the ANT BMS the left hand balance connector has 10 white wires and 2 red wires. The right hand one has 1 black and 13 white. This gives me a total of 23 white. I know that the black is the neg and the final red is supposedly power for BMS. I'm presuming the second to last red is the...
