FYI, tested the first cell (EVE 304).... 314 AH!!!
I don't have the patience to test the rest. Will likely just top balance and build the battery and see what the total capacity is.
Just got 16 of the 304's from Amy. Packaging seems good. Cells seem good at first glance, but only had time to open one package before leaving for the weekend. These three were all at 3.22V.
Communication was great. Buying with FB and paypal is a bit weird, but you can't argue with results...
This one is likely better, and what I would have gotten had I realized there was a 20A version. Although the inverter is only rated for 1000W, I think a 10A relay is a little undersized.

Honestly, after driving around last weekend and seeing snow on every panel, I am seriously considering just mounting them at 90deg and buying more panels.
The product lines are a complete mess in my opinion. At least they are in the pure off-grid applications. Perhaps my use case is not common, but it seems like every unit (or combination of units) is lacking in some way. The LVX6048 seems to get me pretty close, I just wish I had a 240V generator.
Relay worked perfectly. The neutral bond in the RV panel is broken when shore power is present. GFCI breaker in the RV trips with the tester when on battery power, and the GFCI breaker in the garage trips when on shore power. Much simpler solution than the ATS and about $70 less. Now I have...
I've actually never used those, they came with the ATS which was a nice touch. Going back to Amazon though. Funny story, my dad and brother are both electricians. When we were wiring my house I was using wagos for the can lights. My dad commented on how fast I was going, and became a...
My thought right now is 6-8 panels at 90 deg lifted above the snow line. Braced like an SOB to combat wind. I'd love to get 3-4KWH a day even in the dreariest of winter days, consistently, without me having to worry about clearing snow off the panels.
These batteries will be cycled maybe 50 times a year, its at a recreational property. Even at 2500 vs the 3500 cycles, they or I will be dead from age :)
I've noticed my fan only really runs loud when charging the battery via shore power. Its also in an enclosed storage area, so fan noise hasn't been a big issue.
Just to try and recap for the newbies who don't mind taking a lot of time getting this right, would this be an appropriate way to proceed if you prioritize battery health over capacity?
1.) Charge each cell to 3.55 (or maybe 3.6)
2.) Capacity test each cell to ensure there are no duds
3.)...
One thing I can say with this unit, is that the 1000W inverter is limiting. I pulled the microwave and A/C out, but I should have also pulled the electric water heater. It was a complete miss on my part. The real pain is that you are limited to 1000W REGARDLESS of if you are running off...
I ordered 16 304AH cells from Amy Zheng. I had already purchased the 48V Overkill 16S BMS. I had a couple of questions if anyone would have the time to comment:
1.) How do I size a class t fuse? Is 200A sufficient?
2.) What is the best place to put a fuse?
3.) Is putting some sort of smart...
