Here's the situation, and sorry if this is the wrong forum,
30 x 445w panel 49.5voc 11.44isc
Going into 2 eg4 all in ones 6500ex (8000w in, 500voc) each.
My plan is to split into 2 sets of 15. Wire 5 panels in series, and paralell 3 groups for each inverter. Does this make sense?
The bus bars i have are rated 250 amps. I am running 2 x 6500EX and 6 eg4 batteries. Max charging amps are 120. With fluctuation, are my busbars too small?
In wiring a split phase totally off grid system, what are the benefits of using a 60a breaker instead of just wiring the 2 hot leads directly to the main breaker?
Do I have to segregate my loads from my inverters as shown in the pic? This will run my entire home and i am having trouble keeping all my loads on the spaces to the left.
Good day.
I am in the process of building a new home 3b 2 bath 1800 sq ft in eastern Kentucky. Power company quoted 46000 to run electric. Now, I plan on wiring the home myself, as I know how to run wiring, install breakers, etc... 13kw system to me seems large enough, with enough battery...
Awesome! I also plan to have generator backup as well but i am confused as to how i would charge the batteries with a non inverted generator. Any ideas
