FYI 10hp (35cfm) is puny for sandblasting. You'll spend most of your time waiting for the pressure to build.
Using a diesel screw compressor won't use any electricity and blasting will take 10 minutes instead of an hour. Buy one used, use it for five years then sell it for what you paid...
I bought some underfloor radiators to modify them to snap onto tubing, paint them black and install in a glazed box. Manifolds on both ends. There's no reason they couldn't be glued, or something, to the back of a PV panel. Normally they're simply stapled to the underside of a wood floor. If...
A thousand years ago in Germania massive stoves were popular. The wood burned hot and fast, heating the mass which released the heat into the room all day.
Fixed. (y)Moved a resister to a different pad. Damn they're tiny. The seller (factory) was great, pictures and everything. Of course it saved them a bundle too.
My fridge ran fine with one for eight hours. Measuring it with a Kill-a-watt meter found the power factor was poor and the volt-amps higher. Consumed more power so I assumed running hotter. The inverter was worth seventy five, the fridge worth a thousand, so I didn't think it was worth the risk.
Your confusing capitalism and free market. Understandable mistake considering all media is corporate owned. Capitalists are fine with monopolies, slavery and forbidding free trade.
Seriously good idea. Haven't used a dryer since the repair would cost $500. Also need plans for those worried about water shortage, pollution and disease.
Two of the same batteries, except for being thirteen years old, size 29 and $90, power my thirty year old small microwave just fine. The high cranking amps work fine for two to ten minutes spurts. MAXX
Right next to it in the store there's clamp lights using the same switch, rated for 300W. Further study showed the only difference was a housing of porcelain not plastic. Got to be careful with that dihydrogen monoxide, I strive to limit it touching my skin to about once a month.
If in a vehicle maybe you could supplement power at the inverter with a separate switched line from the starter battery, used only while operating the microwave. Works for me. Note: I don't know what connecting lead acid to LifePo batteries, even for 10 minutes, would do. Anyone?
What I do know...
As far as inventions go indoor plumbing (toilet) stinks. Composting (million year old tech) is making a come back.
Penicillin saves the embarrassment of parts falling off.
Agreed, I'm deficient on such matters. With the Kill-a-watt meter, I compared inverter vs grid while powering the fridge. Grid was text book, inverter not.
Not being able to take advantage of any credits or rebates, from a laundry list of reasons, means poor customers pay all of an inflated price.
Fifteen years ago there was a 25% tax credit on Energy Star appliances. I was interested in a $1100 fridge. When the tax deduction expired that fridge...
Think I'll spend all my retirement savings, study for a couple months, buy panels, electric car, batteries, inverters, block access to the garage then spend the next twenty years troubleshooting. Should save 1.5 gal. of gas per day.
