I'm so sorry, I messed up, I ordered a 12v 50ah battery, I was thinking I could use it as a ups battery replacement because I don't think using an lfp batt in a ups isnt smart...do I need an mppt for this sla batt ? And nobody say I quit cuz I've just gotten started
Okay, I think I somewhat understand, I was hoping to run my desktop PC 24/7 on the battery and solar panels alone and at some point upgrade to more batteries and power a 680 watt AC...at least during daytime hours
Found ring terminals online (because I am so so far from civilized Philippines) that everything is done online... But I don't know which terminal size .. I don't have a caliper and I cannot understand inches, the size of the bottom of the bolt is (the part that you screw in) is roughly 1cm wide...
since everyone told me (not in so many words) that i am simply too dumb to use lfp batteries as a solar bank, i will stay with what i somewhat understand.. the 12,000 php battery that GXMNow linked a few pages back...but i still have 5-7 days before it arrives, is there anything else that i...
I just want to run a 580watt aircon 24/7 and not worry about it being damaged when the batreries run out of power, ive seen that happen twice already to 2 fans, im sorry i dont know what agm means
1500 or 1600. local time.. mppt is telling me 12.5 volts.. i think i saved my 2 12v batteries.. as for the black 12v 100ah battery.. i dunno.. 5 days. sending "pulses".. but.. zero results... and for fun.. i did unclamp one of the battery clamps to see if there is any change.. the lcd screen on...
okay.. so here is what i am planning to do.. so bear (bare?) with me.. i ordered a "smart" charger.. i will plug this into my 2 batteries(power bank) at night.. pump it full of happy watts.. unplug when i wake up.. and connect that to the mppt to the same 2 batteries.. so i will my use 3...
just thought id mention that i booted a GFCI plug into the wall.. all by mysel.. OMG i love being smart.... although worth mentioning there was a 1 second buzzing the first time i pressed the red "reset" button... it never reproduced...
no gpu... im super cheap, i went with APU only.... i will be using my crappy laptop tomorow.. only.. OR pluf tower directly into inverter and see what explodes :)...
okay, i looked up your pouch.. 10,000 mah.. not bad.... im getting ideas what i could do if i duct tape a few together :p
did you not notice the photo of the larger than life solar panel ??? only 320 watts but.. im thinking with that massive surface area.. i might actually get.. 320 watts... it...
pardon ??? im sorry, i dont follow.. the rapid charger is only to safely top up my power bank without taxing the charging portion of my ups... both my dc to ac inberters fail to turn on my lcd monitor so i am forced to use my ups in the end...
i actually find that using youtube to be difficult for information difficult as the majority comes from India/Bharat and i have my doubts that they are doing things correctly as their education isnt anytwhere near that of my frigid home... i use my little DC knowledge from tesla engineering...

Yup, but being a veteran myself I'm not very shy when it comes to cold showers in certain countries... And I left the area where I would have the room for a solar water heater,,, I'm familiar with it, they sell very cheap in isreal I believe
But due to a severe cyclone, I had to evacuate...
oh you know barrio ? because i used to live next to a brgy named barrio in abuyog...
as for my knowledge, i know just enough to link those 4 cells together to produce a 12volt battery, i can assure you, i am not trolling im just a dumb Quebecer... but if SLA battery is the way to go, ill just...
Let's see the desktop PC uses roughly 100 watts for the apu and the SSD although the PSU (power supply unit) is rated to go until 1000watts, don't know if that is a factor, the monitor draws 50-70 watts so if everything pulls 170 watts I should have power staying in the battery,
Nice try with...
up in smoke lol, classic movie.. i loved it because tommy chong is or was Canadian... can i not add 50 watts solar panel to the ups battery / shouldnt fry it... and it will add power to whatever is flowing to the sine wave inverter..
unless my logic hear is wrong again , i was going to add 4...
you are correct. there is a beam going from 1 wall to the other.. i did tap it.. it sounded like hollow metal... ... i have my cheapo ceiling fan attached to that..using a sticker hook.. no holes..
if you are suggesting that that hollow beam is connected to the ground somehow.. i will actually...
soo... solution is ? buy 2 or 3 charge controllers and attach a single solar panel to each charge controller ??? or can you suggest anything simpler for my rarely used Quebecois brain?
PLEASE READ...
okay, need bms.. check.. but do i really need to buy 4 batteries and bms and cables and fuses ? just to run a pc and lcd monitor (and possibly a tiny fridge) during daylight hours ???
did nobody read the part i mentioned about trying to bring back THIS battery i have back to...
if you believe 48 volts is better than more storage capacity, so be it.. will i be able to use the same 3 solar panels that i insanely walked onto my roof next to my window ? 2 are 350watts and one is 400 or 450 watts... all 3 are physically different sizes......
sooo.. i need 4x 12volt...
