build my own for my RV or buy new lifepo4 batteries.

I appreciate all the replies and am leaning towards DIY cause I can choose my own components. Does anybody have a recommendation of a good bms. Thoughts are using 304A EVE cells and battery case I found on amazon. Choosing the right BMS is where I'm struggling. My plans are to hook them (making...

build my own for my RV or buy new lifepo4 batteries.

I have been debating and researching many posts about DIY projects for a RV and my debate is over building my own LIfepo4 batteries 300AH each X 2 or look at new premade units. Most posts about DIY are over 2 years old or more. So I'm curious if anyone is or has made there own batteries and what...

    Here's my latest install

This is what I put on my MH to be able to keep batteries charged while in storage. I used 2 200 w Panels @ 24V from Richs solar and a Victron MPPT controller. Does anyone see any reason that I should've done something different..

    Did I do it right?

I installed my panels in parallel for better efficiency. I am connected to a 12V system so I will increase my CB to be safe and yes they are the 24V panels. Thanks!

    12v or 24v panel?

On board systems, alternator while driving, inverter/charger while plugged in, and generator for a backup (last resort)

Just a timeline of how long the unit is parked for to keep batteries fully charged.

    12v or 24v panel?

I know that even though they say 12 or 24v they actually produce more than that, hence the need for the controller.

    12v or 24v panel?

I'm going to install a 400W system on my motorhome and I've been trying to decide which panel to use, two 200w 12v panels or two 200w 24v panels with a victron smart solar mppt controller of course. I've read that a 24v panel is more efficient in low light conditions and may be more effective as...
