The more threads I read the more different ways and opinions there are. So if I could get some expert advise on my particular system I would appreciate it.
8 250W Panels (potentially very cold -10F)
4s2p
Vmp 18.9V
Voc 22.8V X 4 = 91.2 V
Imp 13.2A
Isc 13.7A X1.5 = 27.4A
2 X 4...
I could use some experienced help to get this correct. Cable size?
I am upgrading to 48V system.
4 X 48V Li SOK batteries parallel. "100A Max Discharge Max charge current 100A"
Inverter 48/5000/70 Victron
4000W Cont output
9000W Peak power (is this the number that should be used?)...
I have used FLA for 25 years but am ready to replace and go LI. So many choices out there, so much marketing. Cheap is never good. I would like to have batteries that last as long as possible even if it cost a bit more.
My question is after reading on this forum and others it seems like BMS...
Because of physical constraints my new upgraded system I think will be limited to 8 200W panels, might be able to use 8 12V 250W Panels. Old system is 12V, new system could be 12 24 or 48. Thinking since everything is going to be replaced I should try to go to higher voltage since 1 of the 2 ox...
