I could use some experienced help to get this correct. Cable size?

I am upgrading to 48V system.

4 X 48V Li SOK batteries parallel. "100A Max Discharge Max charge current 100A"
Inverter 48/5000/70 Victron
4000W Cont output
9000W Peak power (is this the number that should be used?) (187.5amps)

Plan to use bus bars at the batteries for parallel connection (so I have the ability to take one out). The batteries will be 5-6' cable from the system. I have a lot of 4/0 cable from my present 12V system that I might reuse but I made these 25 years ago crimping lugs with a manual "hammer" crimper.

Should I rebuy all new cables in smaller sizes because the ones made with a proper crimping will be that much better?

Then the Cable from batteries to Bus Bars (2feet X 4) What would the Minimum size cable I should use be? Or the recommended size?
Is this rated on the 100amp max discharge?
Should these be fused separately at the battery lugs if this cable is smaller than cable to system?
Is it a good or bad idea to use a smaller cable here and larger to system?

Cable from Bus bar to system (6') What is the Min size it should use? And what should be the fuse size for this?

Thanks

The manual provides conductor size recommendations. You'll need to find the appropriate manual for your Phoenix/Multiplus/Quattro.

No harm in using your 4/0 cable if they will actually fit. Ugly crimps can be just as good as pretty ones.
