Thank you.
Tell me more about the manual transfer switch and now it would be wired to allow either the grid or inverter output be the power source of my existing 200A house main panel. I think that is the part my head is not clear on.
To me the problem with the LV6548 is that it takes two of...
DC-DC chargers will limit the amp draw from the alternator to that of their highest rating. You could only overcurrent the alternator if you installed too large of a charger. Hence my sizing recommendation above.
Nick work. Engineering tests are never pretty! I'm an electrical engineer and I can tell you most of the time they're borderline safe too! Ha.
What liquid is in the barrel now? Water?
Nice work! Tell me more about your BMS and contactor setup please. Any wiring diagram to show as I'm curious about your breaker placements in the picture. Do you do any alternator charging?
Nice. Any reviews or videos that you are aware of?
I am looking at making three parallel strings of 16s/48v/EVE Grade-A 280Ah for a DIY powerwall and using one of the 200a bms on each string.
If the videos I've seen are accurate, this BMS should be able to communicate to a Growatt Inverter.
You should have purchased directly from BLS off of Aliexpress. They ship to LA and relabeled to US address. I'm assuming they do this to bypass tariffs?
I am going to convert my van to lifepo4. I have 8 150ah cells that I am going to build a 12v pack from. I'm staying 12v as I already have 400w of solar and 12v Magnum inverter. I've done quite a bit of research and some opinions vary quite a bit. With that said, what is the consensus with this...
Happy to help.
This was the only one I found.

Find out from the Ford upfitter manual or guide what the maximum usable alternator current is. Most upfitter resources will list thins. Buy the largest dc-dc charger that fits within those specifications. Buy a shore power charger that puts out a maximum of. 5c of your pack size.
Hi! Can you tell me about the condition and history of these cells? Have you connected to them and checked cycle count or done a capacity test? Cheers. Keith
You are the only one I've seen have problems with these cells. I visit a few forums and a few FB groups and you're the only one complaining. I wouldn't bash them and claim everyone is getting crap cells. Not saying that your experience isn't shitty, it is.
I have tested my 150Ah cells from BLS...
Mid build and testing. Tested with and without the Balancer. The cells stayed within .05v of each other without the Balancer and within .01v with it. The stickers from BLS indicate they were matched cells. The cell resistance readings from two different chargers and cell testers agree.
I haven't seen this external relay version before nor can find any reviews or usage. Anyone seen this in use?

I personally think REC BMS has the best pre-charge unit. At first glance it looks like it could be used independently of their BMS.
