Thank you for all the great information. I have done some research on these modules and they seem to have very little use. I probably have 500 of them. So what do I do with them? Does not look like there is an easy way to charge them. Any ideas? No I don't want to buy a Pruis... :)

You can use something like a grounding lug to hold the probe in place. I made my own, but any Bog Box store will have some.

That's an idea as my bench power supply only goes to 5 amps. I think it is spring outside... I can temporarily hook it up to my truck battery and just put the house test battery on the ground.

Would using any of the "soft start" kits on the compressor help you?
