I’ve got 2- 12v 115AH FLA batteries in parallel (12V 230AH) connected to a 3000W inverter.
Just performed first test, and these are the results:
-1200W microwave operating for 30 seconds
-battery voltage prior to test = 12.84v
-voltage dropped to a low of 11.93v during test.
-once microwave...
I've got a 4P 12V flooded lead acid bank 460AH.
In researching how many can be paralleled, I've seen "no more than 3", but "4 is ok".
My system is 12V now, but eventually plan to work up the voltage ladder.
I'd like to accumulate, and increase the capacity of my 12V parallel bank now, and later...
I'm trying to wrap my head around what I need for grounding.
As everyone's system is different, I'll give specifics for mine.
Completely off grid, not connected to house power in any way.
I'm growing my system from small (12v) to medium (48v) and want to address any safety concerns.
Currently I...
Hi,
Brand new here, and really loving the community here.
I’m setting up my first ever off grid system.
I first purchased a durdc12-100p AGM 100ah battery a couple weeks ago, and wanting to expand as I go.
I bought this battery because it was available locally, but It’s expensive ($289)
I’d...
I’m struggling to learn electrical theory, as I build my first ever small solar project, using Will’s “Van life 12v system” template.
I’m expecting my 1012LV MPP unit in the next couple days, and I’ve disconnected my current pwm charge controller and 100w panel I’ve had setup temporarily.
Shown...
Two scenarios during daylight hours and
SCC is charging battery-
1. extreme load wandering
2. extreme pv input wandering
I’m wondering if a charge controller can get confused in such situations, and say end absorption stage and enter into float before it should?
