What about either a Victron 450/100 or Schiender 600/100... I How many 240 watt 37 volt panels roughly can I attach at a time? Or is there something better?
I cancelled my battery order on the Rich because upon further reading I found the battery only has 15 cells vs 16... Any help would be great.. Thanks...
Thanks Brucey, I love you man. I want something water proof that will work good with a EG4 3000,6500,or a xp6000.I read some things on this site and it was like are these batteries OK? The Victron inverters except (3000) are not UL rated and that is a problem with me. SS sale goes off tomorrow...
Looking at charge controllers the Victrons just seem the way to go, the ones that will do 12 24 36 48 but what do I know, I know very little about this but learning. I had chats with a local guy who has done this for 40 year plus and he told me solar was a pain in the a$$ and expensive to do it...
Maybe it's a Ford thing. He was using them to build systems and the new stock sitting idle just went up so he tells me. I aksed him 3 times they were Life4 and he said yes but what do I know...He claims his entire home is gone... I could drive 15 miles to check the lie meter.
I have no problem not using LA Group 31 batteries but they are interchangeable with trucks and cars is all, you just don't know the situation you may run into where you wish you had more auto batteries is all. I can get Victrons small ones that will do 48 volts. How does using several of these...
The Tesla wheel is real, the net has been changed and scrubbed over the last 10 to 15 years.
Just look how they locked the entire planet down for Covid, issueing the worlds money will give you this sort of power. They know this, this is why Lennon stated an exclusive credit monopoly will get...
What about 1 MPP Solar LVX6048 6000 vs 2 EG4 3000 watt like the one Will was pushing on his hand truck set up... Just curious since the 6000 uses a huge transformer..
These were some speakers I picked up from MonoPrice, these things are 340 Watts each. Class D amps, so far a total steal. They were selling these 15" with a good horn and driver for 340 a pair shipped. I should have bought 2 more but they are gone now.... When I plug them into the 2400 Oupes...
I don't have time to do that, I want to use some new some surplus and want somebody good I can pay to guide me on what to get. That would be much easier for me. I want to be able to run 2 fridge freezers, probably 300 watts of lights, 2 or 3 fans, washer dryer just a little and a hot plate...
That is why I just cancelled my battery purchase and looking for a local company to buy from. Just try to keep the money in your local economy like it used to be. Won't work but at least I can say I tried...
suggestions on batteries and inverters. Should I go LF or a bunch of cheapies... Just how much batteries should I have... thanks. What about a diesel generator that will run on waste oil...
Yaa I agree, no it does not have to be outdoor. What was surprising was the Oupes 2400 was outdoor rated and a three year warranty for 799 AIO but you cannot add to it. I talked to Dan the man at Trophy batteries and I think they may be good for me, they sell Victron and have their own batteries...
It ran my fridge for 18 hours and a 100 watt light plus light duty with a shop vac for 18 hours and had 3 hours of power left so I am happy but it will not make my powered speaker run and that is the real reason I bought it. I wanted 2 of them outdoor rated to play a PA system that I could setup...
These things are designed for outdoor use, The Will truck system is much better and I will probably do one because what I want does not seem to exist and E4g told me if you use their systems outdoor it voids the warranty so just to have something portable I will get a few of these until I figure...
Get an XP 6000 and mount the water proof EG4 or the rack? or something other? Now that I am learning a little bit that charge controller is gold? gives flexibility?
I am worried about AIO or would need 2 of them for backup? When covid started I talked to people in the biz who told me quality on the products they were selling had been dropping off like a rock. I want reliability with a proven track record on a charge controller and inverter but want to have...
Good Morning, Are the hybrid inverters really made that much better than the Off Grid only and should I get one because the can go grid? Also could I get one to work well in the Will 3000 hand truck style arrangement? Want to buy good stuff that is relable under any situation so I don't have to...
Thanks, that is the whole thing, I like the way the Rich batteries look and they make claims is all. If E4g is the way to go then OK. I just had a talk with Signature Solar and he straightened me out a little bit. From what he told me what I want does not exist but it is coming and the way to go...
