Nice looking cabinets for that price especially. I believe your idea for an inexpensive battery enclosure is my answer also. I've been dreading building something. And most metal enclosures are very expensive. Nice fit as well.

  • Post in thread: What solar panels do you have & why did you choose them?

A1solar, though looking back this vendor was no bargain pricing. Great service & delivery. But I could have shopped around for better pricing. QCell purchase was in 2019. Quality cells for sure. My Solarever panels purchase was from santansolar, Savanah Ga location. I drove 6 hours for local...
  • Post in thread: JK-B2A24S in Parallel question

That's how my JK BMS' behave as well. Balance On, only when they are balancing. They do a very good job keping the cells in balance.
  • Post in thread: 6kw AIO's, value vs cost?

Adding the $350 Autotransformer accomplishes that, onto same 240/120 Circuit Panel. Some people have a misconception them. Current Connected made a video about them here:
  • Post in thread: Wanptek DC Power Supply - FUSE Replacement

It was not any lightening strike. I was attempting a charge on my DIY cells (10 Amps), the max the power supply can put out. I've used it earlier last month for as long as a week @10amps without issue. I'm assuming components on the board got maxxed out to failure (Pop!) I was a few feet away...
  • Post in thread: Makes me want to buy more panels. US manufacturing process.

    Maybe “missionsolar” in Texas? https://missionsolar.com
  • Post in thread: Deal or Not?

Santan Solar has very good pricing on panels, new or used. Much agreed with comments. It was worth a 10 hour roundtrip drive for me purchasing panels.
  • Post in thread: Clueless Smart guy

If you are replacing the BMS(s) in BB Husky, read further in the forum on opinions of BMS(s). Most all 48v BMS will communicate with your batteries as long as each sensor lead is connected to each cell. Many opinions out here, I like the JK BMS units. Others like JBD, or Seplos. Here is a link...
  • Post in thread: 2023-08-16 Solar Assistant update. But take note.

So, I'm assuming it was NOT as easy as we all hoped? Or just time lapse with your Sunday?
  • Post in thread: DIY 48v 280ah Build - Blowout/Fail

There is a "Switch" to shutdown JK BMS, yes.

  • Post in thread: Two To One Terminal Block for BMS and Balancer

While not using yet any Terminal Block between BMS/Battery, I was considering single middleman units. But also though about another point of connection failure and decided against it.
  • Post in thread: Looking for Suggestions : Solar Panel(s)/Battery/Inverter to Run a 1000W PC

How about looking into one the ecoflow units? https://ecoflow.com Keep it charged using panels as neccessary.
  • Post in thread: 6kw AIO's, value vs cost?

Here is the Growatt 5000 AIO, Auto Transformer, Breakers to power Well Pump, Etc. Cost Effective and scalable.
  • Post in thread: Can anyone help to get this "complete" system working please?

While not being familiar with Voltacon units, I use Growatt units. It outputs 240vac. I would first isolate the AC output locally at your Voltacon from running downstream. Verify it can produce usable 240ac output locally. Possibly wired directly to your EV Wallbox charger unit, or some other...
  • Post in thread: Where can I buy JK BMS in the US. That can be shipped in days please ?

I have ordered my JK 200a BMS units from eBay/Originating from California. They ship same day. Delivered to North Carolina within 3-4 days. Pricing is not cheap ($200.00). I have ordered (3) units this way.
