How can you keep politics out of this thread. It isn't an act of God doing it. It's the F****** politicians. They ruin everything!!
  • Post in thread: Hijacking Threads

I don't talk a lot and I type even less so I'll keep it brief. WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT STAYING ON SUBJECT OF A THREAD? Think before you speak or type. Is it related to the subject of this thread? Will use the thread I just gave up on as an example. By end of page 5 it goes completely off...
  • Post in thread: Victron is Over-priced Eurotrash. Why would anybody buy Victron over an AiO?

I stopped reading this thread around page 10 because of all the BS. This may have been mentioned. It's actually ON TOPIC!! From the 250 Manual, section 6.1 "The solar charger will commence battery charging as soon as the PV voltage is 5V higher than the battery voltage. For charging to...
  • Post in thread: Run from Signature Solar!!!

Other companies probably aren't doing 60,000 transactions a year. 164 / Day. Of that 164 / day probably 1/2 don't know what they are doing and aren't willing to put in the time to learn on their own. Just look at some of the questions asked here and you might have an idea of what SS has to deal...

You know why Will Prowse videos are so informative. He starts on point, stays on point, and ends on point. He doesn't try to be a comedian, rarely gets off subject. You get 14-15 minutes of info out of a 15 minute video. I'm here to learn, obviously not here to socialize. Needed to plan a...

Another good thread ruined because so many of you self centered narcissist can't stay on the FU**ING topic. Yea, It pisses me off. Several times I've started to start a thread here but haven't because of this crap.
  • Post in thread: Signature solar horrible customer service

I can't beleive how pathetic this thread got. Attacking Bens Picture. Really? Attacking Harbor Freight? Unbelievable. This is why I don't post my projects. What a shame.
  • Post in thread: Safe Grid Use of the 5000ES and transformer

Been thinking of posting the same comment. Well done. You forgot to mention Grid Sharing, another plus for those without batteries or when your batteries are low but the sun is out.
  • Post in thread: Not a complaint, but a request.

Good luck cleaning your build thread up. You and sunshine_eggo are the only 2 contributors I always read. Always on point and brief. Maybe we'll get lucky and the moderators will start throttling all the useless comments. The banner Will put up several months ago didn't help at all.
  • Post in thread: Safe Grid Use of the 5000ES and transformer

I believe their business and credibility has probably increased because of the way they have handled it. Nobody is perfect. GW 5000US sales have probably also increased. They seem to be sold out again.

Why bother with a "Chat Room" section when every thread turns into a chat session?

  • Post in thread: PC vs Inverter / Parts, Maintenance & Dependability

I've got 7 PCs in my business. I can fix any problem with any one of them within 48 hours. Last problem I had was video going out on office PC. Was the cooling fan on the video card. I keep spare parts. Replaced card and ordered new fans to fix the one replaced. I go back to before Microsoft /...

  • Post in thread: Safe Grid Use of the 5000ES and transformer

Here's a quick video showing grid pass through. I call it Grid Sharing.
  • Post in thread: Safe Grid Use of the 5000ES and transformer

You people are unbelievable. ArkRob asked to see a video of Grid Pass through. Whether it has an auto transformer or batteries is pointless. Doesn't matter to you. You're going to find something to bitch about. Here's a couple of more. I doubt these will make you happy either. This why I don't...

Yes, you can do that. GroWatt SPF3000TL LVM-ES, GroWatt SPF5000TL LVM-ES, MPP 6548 The GroWatts do grid sharing. Don't know if the MPP does that.
