Those look exactly like what showed up today.
  • Post in thread: What was your most interesting recent non solar project?

Before the deck remodel I did a bath remodel with walk in shower, heated floor and seat, rain head, hand held sprayer and four body sprayers. It was super fun as my house is 110 years old and nothing is straight, the bathroom floor dropped 1-1/4” towards the old brick chimney where they did a...
  • Post in thread: Beware of Docan Technologies (Issue Resolved)

I still don’t see anything showing Docan as the seller, or invoice for what you purchased. If those came from Docan the boxes must have been totally destroyed, everything I have seen from my purchase and about the first thing people mention when they post is how well they are packaged.

Last big one was back deck remodel with a swim spa for the wife, deck had to support about 20,000 pounds. With outdoor shower.

Just top balanced my seventh set of four LF280N cells from Jenny Wu and they are really looking good, doing a run down test to see how they do at the bottom.
  • Post in thread: Compression question for EVE LF280K

I just went the easy route and used four 160lb die springs, set at 50% soc, this puts me just under 12psi.
  • Post in thread: Prices dropping, will this continue?

That seems to be what I keep telling myself, started off with enough stuff for four 24v 304ah in boxes and that turned into six, then I found two server racks that will hold four each. So eight after second order.
  • Post in thread: What is the easiest way to compress prismatic Cells?

My cells have not moved at all, they are clamped at 640lbs. But they are mounted on vibration dampers. They do expand length wise I can see the spring length change from 10% to 90% soc, so I would be concerned about too much pressure building in a ridged fixture. My cells are in a work rig that...

Just finishing up first 12v 280ah pack.

The fedex guy is going to hate me, 23 boxes😆
  • Post in thread: Beware of Docan Technologies (Issue Resolved)

Grade A-B-C don’t know don’t really care, I have purchased 28 LF280N cells from Jenny Wu at Docan. Both purchases went great, I had cells to my door in five and seven working days from ordering, cells arrived at the same voltage about 30% charged and in perfect condition with QR code’s intact...

Just got my 16 LF280N cells six days from order to front door.
  • Post in thread: Are we all getting GRADE B cells??

I still haven’t figured out what is wrong with the grade B cells I got from Docan, capacity is good, no runners. Here is a shot of the BMS after a parallel top balance, discharge to 11 volts, full charge, discharge to about 30%. They are perfectly balanced.
  • Post in thread: Luyuan battery case

Well good thing I didn’t believe the rest of the boxes would show Monday, they rolled up this morning. I was lucky, caught him and he pulled right up to my garage door.
  • Post in thread: 2nd Buy from Amy Wan/Luyuan

Amy has spent hours getting my orders together, they missed my 2ga silicon wire in the first order and she offered expedited shipping for it. I just had her put it in the next order, I am just about to place my third order.
  • Post in thread: 2nd Buy from Amy Wan/Luyuan

    32 cells in the 🛒
  • Post in thread: build my own for my RV or buy new lifepo4 batteries.

I am doing 304ah 24volt with “grade A cells” for just under $1200.00 per box ordering four. With BMS, screen 200 amp breakers and 2ga silicone wires, on off switches and network connections.

Fully insulated and heated, waste water treatment in the back. Have 36”+ koi with oldest one 27 years old. Almost 6’ deep.
  • Post in thread: New air to water install

A forum member ask me to post about an air to water heat pump installation I completed recently. I installed the radiant floor heating system about 20 years ago and the customer just installed Solar and wanted to get away from propane fuel. The old boiler is staying intact to heat domestic...
  • Post in thread: Luyuan battery case

Well box #7 of #22 just arrived three days early.
  • Post in thread: Mounting BMS to case

When I put mine together I used 1/2” pex on the rod and plexi sheets from Lowe’s.
  • Post in thread: Work truck 12v-560ah no solar.

So to lessen stress on the batteries I decided to mount them on 1” vibration dampers, I bolted angle to the bottom of the compression plates on the battery and mounted the dampers in the bottom of my battery boxes.
  • Post in thread: First battery build and props to Jenny at Docan Technology

Just finished my first set of eve 280ah from Jenny.
  • Post in thread: Prices dropping, will this continue?

I’m not waiting, prices are good and like said above things could go sideways. But I am doing a large DIY bank and ordering directly from China and waiting for the slow boat.
  • Post in thread: Gobelpower.com - these guys are for real!

Here are the directions from the loctite, you still need the primer/activator. Stainless is an inactive substrate.
  • Post in thread: LiFePO4 heating pad for cold temperatures

I work in HVAC and radiant floor heating, so a cold soaked slab is something I deal with which has high mass. It takes more heating capacity to bring a mass up to temp rather than just having to satisfy the heat loss.
  • Post in thread: Underfloor heating.... outside!

Waste of time and money, there is a point when the mass gets so big that your energy imput does little to nothing because it can dissipate all the heat. You will need to isolate the mass so the heat will build up. I have been in hydronic/water heating for over 30 years and am a certified...
  • Post in thread: Docan 8x EVE 280ah slightly swollen

That’s the problem there is no A and B grade, there is grade A and failed grade A. One passes all the specifications and one does not. It could be any number of reasons for it not to pass.
  • Post in thread: Work truck 12v-560ah no solar.

Just a note, if you decide to go through the floor under the center console that is where they hide the airbag module and it’s not good it you happen to accidentally drill through it. Don’t ask.
  • Post in thread: ok, help me fix my heat pumps

I am working on a project right now that had three top off the line Trane heat pump’s and two split heat pump water heaters installed for north of $150,000.00, two years old everything failed during the cold snap last year. I went to inspect it and came up with a bunch of issues, they had a...
