Why? So I could treat each rack separately. why not take advantage of them having 2 battery hookups?

Why spend more on a buss bar when connecting them both to one to each side combines them anyway?

Only issue with the PowerPro is EG4 will not honor any warranty if you mix this with existing battery system. It's a proprietary setup for only that battery.. :(

SA does NOT show you all of the options for solar charging. Options 43. 44 and 45 with the EG4 3k need to be set. 43 is Switch to Utility % (I put at 20% - as low as it would go) and 44 is for when to Switch to Battery. I set to minimum of 60% - Not sure why that is.. I was watching another...

I use it because it gives me some control over my usage. Unlike you, I live where shade is horrible, so I needed a system that could add some extra reporting and functionality to my EG4 3k inverter.. It's software is crap, and Solar Assistants Power tab adds abilities you just wouldn't otherwise...
