Is it acceptable to use a high quality copper butt splice to join two 6 ga fine wire cable on a 40 ft run going from the main panel to the inverter. Thanks
No wire splices are allowed in the conduit. The splice must be accessible . It must be located in a box.
I would use a insulated multi tap connector instead of a butt splice
