This premium-priced high-frequency charger is even made specifically for these batteries I understood.
How do you guys deal with this without voiding any warranties?

It's not premium priced. It sells so well because it's the cheapest 5kW charger available. Others are AIOs with the same picky input voltage requirements or significantly more expensive.

Remember EG4 is an importer from China, not a manufacturer. So, while they market the charger as being built for those batteries, they're likely made by different companies and someone didn't fully vet the comparably, they missed cable length. Or they expect that many use bus bars and circuit protection and aren't connecting the output directly to the batteries.

Carefully cut the outer insulation and move on with life.

Make up 2 extensions leads, hook it up to test, if it passes then strip away.
If it fails, return it unscathed.

Thanks everyone. My final solution was some very careful cutting on the outer cable to not nick the conductors.
Certainly not what I thought I would need to do when the pictures show the unit coming with alligator clips...

Signature mentioned somewhere they were switching to ring terminals. I got mine with alligator clips and I was glad because it's mostly a charger for one off charging for me.

The alligator clips couldn't reach the terminals on a lifepower4 either, with the way the cable was stripped back. I put them on the inverter terminals.
