Install and Operation of the SUNGOLD 10KW 48V SPLIT PHASE SOLAR INVERTER

Just remember, on the Configuration Tab you need to multiply battery voltages by 2 for 24 volt systems and by 4 for 48 volt system.

A bit of a summary. I first got serious about this 'solar thing' in mid 2023. Received the Ecoflow Delta Pro in August 2023, got Transfer switch wired at end of August with plug/extension cord to Delta Pro. Ordered Sungold 10K48 inverter and initial two batteries in October 2023. Connected in through the Transfer switch...extension cord by Nov 1. Added three more batteries over the next few months.

Here's my impact on the Xcel power bill for the last year.

Big drop in September. When did you get the panels, in August as well? Must have, or you just disabled half the house's circuits.

I added panels clear up to January...which was when I switched all transfer circuits on...about half of circuits...but the major ones. That damn Mr. Coffee...switched in January too! 😂

Here is my kWh per month history, since 11/2021. On 12/1/2021, someone moved into an empty house on my property. (Not a squatter; a legitimate tenant who pays rent.) The bill has never been the same again. This party requires a room temperature of 80F which implies heating on 360 days of the year. That house has a dedicated propane tank which the tenant pays to get filled.. but free electric heating is better.. for *them*. They use about 600kWh a month according to my later installed sub meter.

I have:
* since 2004: a 5kpv grid tied installation which explains the lower summer months

* since ~3/2023 a 3kpv offgrid car charger

* since 1/2024, a 6kpv offgrid setup for the main house

First 2 months of 2023 vs 2024 show 800kWh savings, presumably from the 2 new systems.
(Remember us wealthy Californians enjoy paying 60c/kWh. To cure that wealth problem.)

My idea is to have 2 more separate off-grid installations for the 2 detached houses.

Don'tcha know the whole purpose of my 4.4 Kw of panels and 25.5 Kwh battery bank is to assure I get my coffee first thing in the morning.

Gettin' down to the Dregs of the Mr. Coffee this morning after two days of virtually no sun. Gonna let it run and see what happens. Not sure if it will make it to sunrise or not. This is a test, this is only a test....
