How does it work? I have setup the capacity to 280Ah, but the bms triggers low voltage protection when there are around 25Ah left, so it should show 91% SoH.Yes, running my old calb plastic encased cell with a seplos 10c .

No, I think it is calculated by resistance and efficienty of the cells and pack, yet haven't got that confirmedHow does it work? I have setup the capacity to 280Ah, but the bms triggers low voltage protection when there are around 25Ah left, so it should show 91% SoH.
Has the ‘rated capacity’ or ‘battery capcity’ displayed changed for you?

Do you regularly hit the low voltage protection by any chance?
You need to use the proper app for your BMS..Hello, I cannot connect to the Seplos BMS via Bluetooth. On smartphones and tablets, Seplos BMS is not displayed in the Bluetooth settings. The built-in Neey BMS is displayed in the Bluetooth settings on the smartphone and tablet.
Is there a solution?
Thanks for the help.
Thanks for the support. You need to use the proper app for your BMS..
V2 and V3 use w different app, both can be downloaded directly from the seplos site , after registration
I believe you can only change the V3 setting through the windows software and a rs485 connection. What is the best way to set the parameters in the Seplos BMS?
I use Growatt SPF 5000 ES in parallel operation off grid with two batteries with Seplos BMS V3.0 and Neey BMS.
Thanks
The saga continues. The daughter PCB turned up and as I suspected won't connect to either the inverter or the PC. Furthermore the BMS is not switching on properly so there is not any Voltage across the P+ and P- pins (hence can't switch the invertor on)
Think it is a FW problem again given my comment above. Back to Fogstar again. Getting rather annoyed by this.
Other option is to send the original BMS to Seplos to reflash with the latest FW, will also do this but will then have to wait out Chinese NY etc.
This should work..I´m not sure if that question fits here.
I have a Seplos Mason with Seplos BMS. For configuration I do have the Seplos RS485 to USB-Adapter. Problem is, that the Seplos box is in the basement and my PC in the 2nd floor. Would it be possible to use my LAN-wiring with switches for the connection - like:
Seplos - RS485 to ETH-adapter - switch - LAN - switch - ETH to RS485-adapter - USB-adapter
Sorry for my bad eng
//The RS485A and RS485B ports are for communication between batteries and connecting your PC, so they use 1/8 2/7 and 3/6 pins, speed 9600bps you're good ;-)
//The CANBUS port (even for the RS485 bms version) is to connect your inverter to the BMS,
if your bms is a CANBUS version, use pins 4 CAN-L, 5 CAN-H, 3/6 GND
if your bms is a RS485 version, use pins 4 RS485-A, 5 RS485-B, 3/6 GND, speed 9600bps
Could you provide a little further explanation.
I have tried a USB -> RS485 (RJ45) from amazon: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B08X6B9112/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Which isn't working.
I also have this : https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06WGQDV7Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Which i am unable to figure out which wires from the RJ45 coming off the RS485A port to connect.
The RJ45 is currently in T568A

Any assistance would be really appreciated.
Thank you.
