They didn’t have a choice.

The sad thing is, all of this is based on the mindset of the perception of what we've done to our planet over the last hundreds of years has to be fixed in just a few years. The reality is, no one knows how much we've hurt our planet, but most people are smart enough to know that it isn't going to die if it takes us 50 more years to treat it ideally. The sense of urgency being driven is false, but people got hooked. That's why this isn't happening at a natural pace.

How is this proof they are good cars in the United States?

What happens when you lose power and cannot heat the battery and charge at home?

You then drive down to a local charging station that might have power and do what? Wait 2 hours for the battery to warm up while tying up the charger so you can get up to 50% charge over a period of 4 hours?

Won’t happen. They tried to force the ARB rules on all the heavy equipment , unfortunately there still are tens of thousands who have laughed at the state and their unenforceable rules.

There are waaayyyyy bigger pollution problems than C02.


Which is how dumb this all is. If every passenger car in the United States ran off electric and the electricity used to charge them was all carbon-neutral, then C02 output would only be reduced by 8%.

Exactly…And in CA our grid is constantly having black outs now, we can’t even provide enough electricity for houses let alone the folks who want to drive EV’s

One is a toy for Baja California.

No idea what the red one is but plenty of EV coupes for sale.

Ranger is a glorified wheelbarrow.

I’m sure someone will eventually spend the Millions in R&D to produce a wheelbarrow for ya that meets, CAFE, DOT, NHTSA, and all the rest of the government standards for cheap.

Not sure who that’s gonna be considering the inflation we are experiencing.

Or you can buy a regular EV truck now.

I did a VW conversion years ago. It is just four bolts on a motor adaptor and it connects to the transmission with no other support needed. If I had found a Manx without an engine I would have converted that,

There's no pure battery EV trucks in the 3/4 and 1 ton space i.e. f250/350/450

This was back in 2021, targeting 2025. Prob closer to 2030 in reality.
