Below you will notice a typical BMS. if you unplug the balance cable (blue circle), from watching Wills vid, this shuts off the BMS. As in if you connect B- (blue leads) to Neg on battery, then attach meter to the C- ( black) and the battery positive, there should be 0v correct? I get 12v.

Is BMS faulty?
Maybe why i get the BMS Bluetooth signal but cant seem to connect to it?

Sorry, I can't follow what you are saying (not familiar enough with the connection labels). If the BMS is connected between the battery negative and the load/charger negative.....and the BMS is "off" there will be an "open" between the blue and black power leads. Measure there and you should see battery voltage. If the BMS is on, the same measure should be zero volts, as if measuring across a closed switch. Hope that helps.

yea i just realized that... when measuring voltage, if you get 12v, then this is a potential difference of 2 terminals... if you get 0v, then you have no potential difference as in current flowing through it. voltage you measure across the open device id 1 pos cable and 1 neg cable. but amperage is measured in the path.
