Hello everyone, i'll admit I'm brand new to solar and have thus far used my instruction manual and some google fu to get to this point. This past Christmas I received an ECOWORTHY all in one kit for a workshop/building I have. I've installed my parts and battery, kicked on my inverter and well..... nothing but a fault code and no juice going to my subpanel which will power the two circuits of my building. (One circuit for lights, the other circuit for 2 plugs that I will use to keep my battery powered tools topped off.) I have removed the breaker between the inverter and the sub panel and have wired the sub panel to the inverter now.

My biggest question at the moment is what could be causing me to throw the (03) error code which is battery not connected. I can flip the switch and the batteries can provide power to the inverter to turn it on, I flip on the PV breaker and the inverter continues to state the batteries aren't connected! How can it think the batteries aren't connected but also be receiving power from said batteries? Is my inverter borked, am I a goober who is overlooking something simple?

I've included pictures of what i'm working with.

Looks like your inverter might be 24VDC and your batteries are wired in parallel for 12V.

Wire the batteries in series and it should work.

Just wanted to let everyone know you helped out a ton, I have lights in my building now and it cleared the fault right up. Thank you so much!
