Terrible Signature Solar / EG4 18Kpv Experience - Returning and Replaced with Sol-Ark 15k

Will installed his 18k about 2 months after I installed my Sol ark 15k. I’m at 8Mw-H through mine and he’s not far behind…I think we need to wait and see whos fails first to answer this question once and for all. Stay tuned for an answer in the next 10 years.

People hate it when a product works for me. I try to break everything but sometimes they work
I'd rather you stay true to real life than the crap I see other youtube folks do.

"It failed horribly and left us without power!"
(I turned off the wrong breaker and it was to the inverter)

"Sparks were coming out everywhere"
(I didn't have the nuts tight on the battery leads)

"We almost died from installing it"
(I got a paper cut from the lid on the case during the install)

Since everyone clicks failures most youtubers are drama queen/click baiters from hell.

I'd rather see real world stuff like your stuff any day vs that crap.

Don't change a thing !

??? thank you!!

That's what I like to hear! :)
BUYER BEWARE!!!!! IF YOU BUY A EG4 18 KPV People who don't have one will try to get you too load it up as high as you can to see if you can get it to overload, then laugh at you. You can post videos showing what it will handle, some will all ways question your results.
As an owner of one, I know first hand its the best inverter EG4 ever had there name on, thanks to the partner of Lux Power and there support. It's like having a nice race car, every one wants to see you do burn outs in hopes you break it. Misery loves company.

I noticed that when there is a little drama like my original video on the EG4 charge controller that was very critical about support, it gets way more views than the followup where I talk about the firmware and how to install the firmware.

Don't know if people are just looking for cheap entertainment and drama.

It's what we're primed for.....

Personally, for me it is like Amazon reviews. 5-Star reviews are meaningless, especially when they are pithy "works great." I'm not trying to find fault or just see bad news, but the negative things that stood out in an otherwise positive experience are meaningful.

That said... with this thing the issues seem to just be about firmware or arguably about expectations. I am curious and might need to seek out some reviews on monitoring/control experiences because installation and general purpose operation seem to be a slam dunk. I just can't ascertain if the system can easily operate the way I want it to-- sensitive to real-time pricing.

I too have a LuxPower SNA 5k unit. That unit is a beast and handled effortlessly everything I threw at it!!
The only thing that bugs me is the occasional flicker from hybrid output when the day comes to an end.
