3 EASUN parallel hybrid to 2 DEYE hybrid migration

Hi all. I have decided to migrate my system from EASUN to DEYE and from attic to garage. Drivers for this change are hot conditions in attic during summer requiring AC to run most of the day and EASUN inverters switching to bypass when any of phases get overloaded which happens every time AC...

Backup loads only on Deye Hybrid Inverter 3 Phase 12K Inverter SUN-12K-SG04LP3-EU / Wifi

Hi all. I will replace my EASUN 3P system soon with 2x Deye Hybrid Inverter 3 Phase 12K Inverter SUN-12K-SG04LP3-EU / Wifi and there is one thing which I cannot figure out from manual. As I don’t have dedicated backup power wiring I was planning to run everything as backup load on Deye. Is...

    Is this OK?

Hello all. After installing my 3rd battery bank there is a discrepancy in SOC between new and old ones. Should I leave it like this or do something about it? For old batteries I did full charge and discharge but not for latest one....

Looking for good 3 phase replacement

Time has come to change my present EASUN inverters. They did good but a bit too power hungry. But I have a buyer for my system as is so why not. I'm looking for option for a single 48V hybrid system producing 380V / 25A 3 phase system as we have it in Europe. Alternatively I would do 3 unit set...

    Battery charging dilemma

Good day. I have a question regarding operation of my inverters. They are EASUN power iSolar 5000W hybrid inverters, 3 of them working in parallel. Each of them is connected to 3s2p array of 410W panels. Today was a very nice day but my battery didn’t charge fully as I expected. Charge current...

    BMS and inverter amperage differences

Hello all. I have noticed difference between BMS and inverters amperage readout while in battery mode. Is it just measurement issue or something else. Main cables going from battery to inverters are around 5ft long each 2AWG, nothing heating up, not even under load… What do you think?

Splitting PV array on different facing roofs

Hi all. I have a dilemma how to proceed with PV arrangement. System is constructed with 3 inverters in parallel working as 3 phase system, one MPPT per inverter and with their max input Voc PVs are structured in 3S3P configuration per inverter. Now, should I place all PV of one inverter...

    QSO 280ah 16 cells arrived

Yay. Cells arrived from EU stock. Much faster than I was thinking it will take. Also, inverters and distribution / fuse boxes ready to receive PV and Grid. Just in time, government announced start of blackouts…..

    Battery cable length

Hello all. I’m at stage of my project where I’m routing cables from inverters to battery bank. My system has 3 inverters in parallel and I’m routing positive and negative from battery bank to busbars. Now question is, should I have all cables from busbars to inverters same length or it...

Stack inverters vertically? Yes or NO

Hi all. I have purchased 3 EASUN SML 5K inverters. Before I start drilling holes in walls I would like to hear some suggestions on this question. To save space and leave things in attic as they are now I would like to position them one above another, but there’s catch. Manual says that...
