No, I meant only for cooling. I think it's amazing for heating. I went with geothermal forced air for my house because I wanted air conditioning, but added radiant floor heat for my master bathroom off of my heat pump water heater.

I'm not sure I fully understand, but it seems to me a shorted sell is like a million watt lightbulb. All the cells from the other batteries are going to try to light it up. The cable going to that battery is taking in a huge amount of current. Once the fuse blows, that flow stops. If if it can...

I can't say, as my service is connected directly to my inverter with a disconnect in between. So, my main panel is connected to the load output. Personally, if that's an option, it seems to me to be the easiest way to do it. In that setup, I did run with PV and no battery for about a month.

@Carlos_Sol-Ark might be able to help.

A couple things. Sol-Ark inverter is very slow to react, so give it time. Also, I found that it's finicky. I think I had to go through the full shut down and startup procedure to get settings to take for one of the issues I was dealing with. This may not be the case for your situation.

@mgdean, did you find the answer to not having SOC on your friends inverter for TOU?

And I also find both the use of "Sell" and "Generator" confusing with Sol-Ark, as they use both for different things.
