connection look good. Its a very basic setup at the moment. panels to cut off switch (outside) to cut off switch (inside) to inverter. I tested the volage at all stages. as soon as turn on the inside cut off switch, voltage drops to zero.

I got a got a weird question. I have the 2000w/240/2 phase inverter connected to 2x305w panels in series. When i connect the panels and turn on the inverter, voltage drops to 0. Turn the power off, voltage jumps to around 86v. Its almost like the inverter is killing the voltage. series or...

If I cant combine them, I could I put a switch in between them?

To open up the unit, remove the rubber feet at the bottom, then remove the large bolts x4. Easy!

Testing all the plugs i get 20.4v...
