48 pieces 200ah lifepo4

Want to purchase 48 pièces of 200 ah, new.
Going to 48v system, with batrium bms.
Because the cells are new, parallel groups of 3 cells, and then series them should be fine i guess? Of should i go with 3 separate strings with their own watchmons?

From my understanding you should parallel then series your batt cells. Having three strings going makes keeping the inner members of each string balanced rather difficult especially with such large cells.

Depends on Quality of cells and how much abuse you plan on giving them.

if you parallel them then series if 1 cell goes bad it will kill the two others. ( not likely but has happened)

If you have concerns you would be better off keeping everyone separate and their own Balance/BMS system as changing 1 cell in series could save you money if 1 dies.
