Breaker (combiner) placement question.

I’m using a 125A breaker to combine the outputs of two 6000XP’s. I don’t have a ton of space to play with inside my “power shed”, so was hoping to nest the combiner in between the two units as shown in the pic (except will be a couple inches above the wireway).

Q: Would this pass code?

This is all off-grid and no plans to get it permitted, but I’d like to follow code regardless.

There is space on the right and left walls though that wouldn’t be very symmetrical 🤓. Also want to keep all wire lengths equal on both sides.
