Lol.My home is not quite in the path of totality. It will be about 99.8% at close to 2pm. My PV setup is way more than needed this time of year without AC needed and minor day time loads. The batteries recharge from overnight discharge by 11AM-12 noon. So far clouds have been just a light haze with almost no blockage of the sun.
Because of being fully charged the eclipse will not effect my PV generation. So while the rest of Nation suffers catastrophic power shortages, riots, looting, civil disorder and complete collapse, I should not be adversely impacted.
The whales kinda like itWhy haven't we nuked the moon yet?
I'm about 10 mile closer30 miles from the Canadian boarder, Upstate NY. Right now
Was'nt sure if most people on here would understand "North Country" term though.I'm about 10 mile closer
It's going to be hit or miss, frequent breaks in the clouds so "timing" is critical.
Laughed at "upstate", we usually say "North Country" around here.
That’s a beautiful town to boot!I just looked yesterday, we're down in Puerto Vallarta on vacation and happen to be pretty close to the path of totality, something like 96% coverage just by chance. Looking forward to it!
