No they are actually 1 inch off the ground. I had so much stuff in front of them since i mounted them it pushed all the dirt back up. I am going to dig everything down tho and lay white rock.Did you have to dig down to get the batteries to fit?
I am going to R&D itWhat are you planning for the high temps? Are you just going to accept the faster rate of degredation?
Very slick! Great job!No they are actually 1 inch off the ground. I had so much stuff in front of them since i mounted them it pushed all the dirt back up. I am going to dig everything down tho and lay white rock.
Looking forward to see your results!I am going to R&D it
Yeah not enough wallLooks like it might be a little tight on the right side of the far right battery. Good thing the display is on the left…
Looking good! What are you doing next weekend ?My set up I have been working on today. It was 107 here in Texas today. The trasnfer switch and Panel arent mounted yet I just put them up there to see what it looks like.
ThanksTight fit, but you got it all in there.
Looks very neat and clean.
Go for rock with adequate slope away from the house for drainage IMHO. Kinda looks like a low spot from the picture.Do you guys think this will work better then laying rock?
I'm thinking along the same lines as @Stripes - it looks a little low there. Even if it isn't some of our crazy rain can result in water where you aren't expecting it. How are you fixed for drainage? If you're good on that then the tiles should be fine. If not, I don't know that rock is going to be enough to drain it. Maybe a French drain along with rock.Do you guys think this will work better then laying rock?
And if you need any volunteers for field testing while we “borrow “ the unit…Like everyone else I'm very interested in seeing how it holds up in the heat. And the cold!
