For AC input, the ground wire is the one coming from the 6/3 wire feeding the inverter from the main service panel (which has the neutral and ground bars bonded with a thick screw and the ground wire connected to a grounding rod). For AC output, the ground wire is the one coming from 6/3 feeding the subpanel which contains the circuits that will be served by the inverter. This is shown below.
For the bare copper ground wire that is connecting the PV arrays and racking frame, this will be connected to the grounding screw at the inverter as shown below.
