This might seem counter intuitive but hear me out first.
I've got 7.3Kw of solar panels installed with 10KwH of battteries. I'm onan agile traffif so I charge them over night to 70% for the next day in case it's a real off day.
so start of day they are at 70%
With a nice sunny day they will get to 100% by 10. and between 10 and 3 for me is peak generation time so I can output 7.4Kwh from my panels but if the battery is full it clips production at 5.5Kwh.
I'm trying to figure out if I can set my system to charge my batteries to only 80% leaving room for this peak time.
With the last week I've been force discharging my batteries to 40% going to grid only setting 80% till 2 and getting an extra 4-5 Kwh each day.
I know this would only occur on some days but it seems this would be good algorithm for my usage and system setup.
Anyone know how I could achieve a set up like this ?
