I'm not sure I believe, "It's floating, so no shock hazard." Damage one point and it isn't floating anymore.
I'm not clear on what series/parallel, voltage/current configuration Tesla uses.
Could have been < 80V with microinverters, but seemed to be diode junctions and a rapid shutdown box, suggests high voltage.
