Is this normal for SOK Rack batteries?

Just picked up 2 SK48V100NC batteries from SOK and upon mounting and precharging, the voltage is 40v out of the box. Isn't this a little low for new lifepo4 batteries?

Mean the cells are completely drained to 2.5.
Definitely need to charge first.

Mine didn’t. If your BMS will come up check individually cell levels.

This is the new budget SOK without a display. It says it has Bluetooth but when I scan I see nothing.

Did you try charging it? If the BMS is disconnected it won't take a charge and explains the arbitrary voltage. If it takes a charge, that just means it's low.

Will hook my Victron 100/20 to it in the morning and see what happens.

Out of the box my SOK were the same. The BMS ships in the off condition so as not to drain the battery (?). Apply a source of 48V dc for a second and it will start the BMS. All 6 of my batteries were at ~55% charged, that is how they ship them.
