I got this laser level on Amazon for about 35$..This Old House did a review on it and said it was pretty good for the money. It has a green level. Don't ever look right at these lasers..they are Bad for eyes.. anyway..the level is self leveling....the laser comes out of the device about 1.5 inches from the surface you set it on.... and it comes with a little target plate...the middle of the plate is about 1.5 inches in the middle of the plate...so am I right in thinking that you need to set the target on the far surface and it should hit the target bullseye..???cause it would shoot the laser about 1.5 inches up from your surface target..,yes?? what do you know about this item??
