New/Grade B No warranty Heliene 132HC-M10-SL 490 Watt Solar Panels - $205 Local Pickup, Good Deal?

I have space and would like to add 10 panels to my current 12Kw ground mount array.
4900W picked up locally for $2050 = 42c/watt.

After 30% tax credit PV for 29c/watt..

Oops... Local Seller just informs me panels are not local, "free shipping" means $2550 for 10.
So.. 0.36/w after 30% tax credit.

Sigh

What do others think.. no moving parts, so as long as they are "new" and qualify for the 30%, these are cheaper than the local 10 year old 250w panels folks are trying to sell.

Don't need them , but would be nice in winter , and next year if I get an electric car to charge.

Or buy 20 of them and store 10 to bring up post EMP attack.

sounds like a deal. i am looking for 400+ watt panels new for the credit and 39 inches wide to replace my existing 8000 watt array to 13k watts or so.

Never count the tax credit in, you still have to front the cash.

$500 is a really expensive interpritation of "free" on that shipping.

Still though a good deal if your checkbook can eat it.
