I have a 48v 10k Hybrid controller in split phase and will be using this as a battery generator/ back up to my line grid system. Besides voltage, and the 51.2 only charges and discharges 150 amp, what is the difference between these batteries? What would be my best choice (price is the same)?

Without seeing the listing the 48V may be using 15 cells versus the 51.2V with 16 cells. You want the 16 cell version for compatibility with other common 16 cell batteries.

It depends if the batteries you are comparing are the same chemistry, LiFePO4 vs. Li-ion. With LFP batteries they vary by manufacturer being either 15 or 16 cells.

The 48 volt one is 15 cells, the 51.2 volt one is 16 cells. But it states that it "charges and discharges only 150 amps". Does this affect anything else?

This page shows both models They want $400 for shipping.
AOLithium is selling there 100amp 48v rack battery for less then $1,000 with shipping. Might this be a better choice? I need two.

The 48V has a 100A charge/discharge limit:

Ok, I see the difference. Thank you! I have decided to buy the AOLithium for $500 less. I have more questions on wiring and disconnects. Should I post those in another area of the Forum?
